Make sure that the promotions or products in your Snip matches your landing page. People might leave your website if they don’t find what they expect.

Create three to four Snips and use different messages for each to see which does the best. Keep a close eye on the Dashboard and track your progress!

How to write an effective message

How do you decide what makes a good message for your business? Here are 3 questions that you should always ask yourself before you create your message.

Below, we’ll show you lots of examples and answers from a fictional bicycle shop in California called Betty’s Beach Bikes.

Question 1: What do I have to offer?

List the products and services you want to promote.1

Question 2: What do I want to accomplish?

Identify your main goals and what you’d like to accomplish with your messages.2

Question 3: Who are my customers?

Describe your customers, breaking them into different groups if you have different customer types with unique goals and needs.3

It’s not easy fitting everything you want to say about your business in just a few words. Start by taking a moment to consider what you’d like to highlight about your business in your message. Then use the above guidelines to craft a message that’s accurate, to-the-point, and engaging – and hopefully reach new customers!

  1. Good advice on how to craft a compelling snip message Mike. I would add that the closer your snip headline (and) the button text is congruent with the source page you are sharing, the greater your CTR and conversion will be since the visitor will want to see what YOUR content source page contains, especially if they already know how well you curate content thus far?
